Canadian Thanksgiving Sale: Save on Shoes, Clothing, Furniture, and More

Here is the Thanksgiving Weekend. It's time to reconnect with the family and friends. Even though this year it is more difficult to gather, this Thanksgiving we can get some serious savings. It's been several years that various brands has taken on our Thanksgiving as a way to promote their products similarly to the Black Friday weekend. Sales and discounts may not be as high, but they are deep enough to consider our Thanksgiving weekend as a good opportunity to save.

In our list below you are going to find a dozen of brands that offer shoes, clothing, furniture and more at a discount over the Thanksgiving weekend. The majority of these sales are running until mid next week. With the onset of cold weather in some areas in the country, it's handy to buy shoes and winter jackets at a discount.

SHOE SALES

Let's start with the discounts on shoes. I am biased here as 2 of my family members need shoes for this winter season. So I've been looking around and am planning to get some this Sunday and Monday. Here we go:

ECCO shoes

Their Thanksgiving sale includes only select styles. The discount is up to 30%.

MERRELL shoes

Strangely enough, Merrell does not have a clear discount over this weekend. But they will offer a free Midweight Beanie with any purchase +$150 with code THANKS. If you don't need the beanie, grab a 15% off coupon here (see at the bottom of the post).

BROWNS shoes

Browns sale goes up to 40% on shoes on sale. So they have a good amount of styles that are discounted this weekend.

REEBOK Canada

Reebok is having probably the best sale. If you become a member of their loyalty program, you can get a 40% discount on shoes and clothing. Check the outlet area of their site - that's 40% off extra. Use SAVE40 at checkout.

EDDIE BAUER

Their Thanksgiving sale is a little messy. They promised items priced at $12.50, but the majority of shoes are way more expensive. Anyways, it is still good to check the sale area of the site this weekend.

FOOT LOCKER

Foot Locker's sales section includes a lot of shoes at 15-30% off. 

CLOTHING SALES

Clothing brands have been struggling this year. With a lot of folks working from home, new clothing is not needed as much. Expect the popular clothing brands to offer deep discounts this Thanksgiving.

GAP

Everyting is 40% off with Gap this weekend. Check out their site.

BANANA REPUBLIC

BR is offering up to 50% off on regularly priced items. They also offer 50% off as extra on already discounted items. No promo code is needed.

ALTITUDE SPORTS

This brand is offering an up to 25% off sale on over 2,000 styles. Check the list of these items here.

Costco Canada

Costco does not have a formal Thanksgiving sale. They go with their schedule of discounts. Check the discounted items valid in October.

Home Depot

AMAZON PRIME

Here we are with Amazon. As usual, you can check Amazon's coupons and browse their millions of products. 

But there is one thing that should help you refrain from buying anything on Amazon this weekend. It's their Prime Days. This year Amazon's Prime Days are October 13-14. This is right after the Thanksgiving weekend.

Amazon Prime Days are the biggest annual sale event on Amazon. Official stats say that Amazon sees more sales during these two days than on Black Friday and Christmas, combined!
